Error 300X (E3 / E3001 / E3002)

Question:

What do E3, E3001, or E3002 errors mean?

Answer:

These error codes indicate firmware corruption or a system crash.

They typically occur when:

• Firmware installation was interrupted • The device lost power during an update • Firmware files became corrupted

How to Fix

Perform a Factory Reset / Firmware Recovery:

  1. Enter Bootloader Mode (hold the blue reset button while connecting to PC).

  2. Go to firmware.modcentral.ca using Chrome or Edge.

  3. Reinstall the latest firmware.

If the update fails, connect both the CONSOLE/PC and PROG USB ports to ensure sufficient power.
