Error E3001 occurs when the Cronus Zen has corrupted firmware or no firmware installed.

#### **Enter Bootloader Mode**

1. Locate the **blue reset button** underneath the Cronus Zen.
2. Press and hold the reset button firmly.
3. While holding the button, connect the Cronus Zen to your PC using the **CONSOLE/PC USB port**.
4. The screen should display **“Zen Bootloader”**, confirming recovery mode.

#### **Update the Firmware**

• Go to: **firmware.modcentral.ca**\
• Use **Google Chrome** or **Microsoft Edge** only.\
• Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall the firmware.

#### **If the Update Fails**

• The issue may be caused by insufficient USB power.\
• Connect the **PROG USB** port (right side of the Cronus Zen) to provide additional power.\
• Retry the update with both USB ports connected.
