# PlayStation®5 Bypass

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up the PlayStation®5 bypass with Cronus Zen and DualSense™ or DualSense Edge™ controllers.

## Step-By-Step

## Enable Bluetooth

* Go to **Settings → Accessories → General → Advanced Settings**.
* If Bluetooth is already set to **On**, as shown below, proceed to **Step 2**.

* If Bluetooth is set to **Off**, select **“Turn On Bluetooth”** and press **✕ (Cross)**.\
  The PS5® console will restart automatically.

## Connect the Controller via Bluetooth

* Use the **Bluetooth Accessories** screen to connect your DualSense™ or DualSense Edge™ controller wirelessly.

## Selecting “Use USB Cable” Communication

* Go to **Settings → Accessories → Controller (General) → Communication Method**.
* Choose **“Use USB Cable”** and press **✕ (Cross)** to confirm.

## Put the Cronus Zen in Gearhead (Idle) Mode

* Connect the Zen to the PS5® front USB port.
* If Zen's display shows a Gamepack or script icon, tap Zen's right blue button until the Gearhead logo appears.

To verify that the Gearhead logo is the default screen, unplug the **rear USB port cable**, then reconnect it once.\
Confirm that the Gearhead logo remains displayed.

After verification, unplug the cable again so the Cronus Zen is no longer connected to the PS5®.

## Connect your Controller to the Cronus Zen

* Connect the controller to the Zen’s **A1 USB port** (left-side USB).

## Hover over “Turn Off Accessories”

* Go to **Settings → Accessories → General → Turn Off Accessories**.
* Highlight the **DualSense™ or DualSense Edge™ controller** using the D-Pad.\
  Do not press **✕ (Cross)**.

## Execute the Bypass

* While holding **Right on the D-Pad**, reconnect the USB cable to the Zen’s **rear USB port**.
* Continue holding for approximately five seconds until the Zen display flashes and returns to the **Gearhead logo**.
* Release **Right on the D-Pad**.
* Press **○ (Circle)** to exit the menu and launch your game.
* The bypass is now active.
