PlayStation®4 Setup
Cronus Zen™ provides compatibility for select legacy Logitech® and Fanatec® racing wheels on PlayStation®4, including support for Force Feedback, pedals, brakes, clutch, and shifter in compatible racing titles.
Wheel Mode development concluded in January 2020. Further expansion is not feasible due to device memory and compatibility constraints across multiple hardware brands and platforms.
For expanded racing wheel compatibility, consider Drive Hub™, a dedicated wheel adapter solution.

Fanatec® Notes
• The wheel must be set to PS3 Mode with the DC power supply connected. • Refer to the Fanatec PS3 Mode page for detailed instructions.
Logitech® G25 Notes
• Set the wheel to PS3 Mode with the DC power supply connected. • To switch between Six-Speed and Sequential Mode:
Push down on the shift knob and rotate the Mode Selection Dial until the red arrow points to the desired symbol.
In Sequential Mode, the status light is on.
In Six-Speed Mode, the status light is off.
Logitech® G27 Notes
• Set the wheel to PS3 Mode with the DC power supply connected.
Logitech® G29 Notes
• Works directly on PS4® / PS5® without Cronus Zen™. • Set the wheel to PS4 Mode with the DC power supply connected.
PS4® Console Settings
Before setting up Wheel Mode, complete the following:
• Confirm the game supports PS4® wheel input (see compatibility list). • Ensure no PlayStation® controllers are paired to the console. Remove them from Bluetooth Devices.
Important: When a DualShock®4 is connected directly to a PS4® via USB, it also pairs over Bluetooth®. To properly unpair a DS4 controller:
Connect Cronus Zen™ to the PS4® using any controller.
Go to Settings → Devices → Bluetooth Devices.
Select the controller and choose Forget Device. This prevents automatic Bluetooth re-pairing.
Required PS4® Settings
Navigate to:
Settings → Devices → Controllers • Select controller → Press OPTIONS → Forget Device • Communication Method → Use USB Cable
Settings → Power Save Settings • Set Time Until Controllers Turn Off → Do Not Turn Off
Setup PS4® Wheel Mode
Supported racing wheels are automatically mapped to emulate a Logitech® G29 profile with Force Feedback (FFB) support. No manual button remapping is required.
IMPORTANT
If your wheel requires an external power supply (e.g., Logitech® G25, G27, G29 – DC 24V 2A / 48W), it must be connected. All peripherals supplied with the wheel (pedals, brake, clutch, shifter, etc.) must also be connected.
Operating the wheel without the required power supply may result in abnormal behavior, including:
• No Force Feedback • Continuous button inputs (e.g., D-Pad registering repeatedly) • Clutch or pedal input not detected
Example: A Logitech® G27 used without its power supply in Gran Turismo® 7 may exhibit these issues.
A licensed PS4® authentication controller must be connected to A1 to prevent periodic disconnection (approximately every 8–10 minutes).
The DualShock®4 CUH-ZCT2 (DS4 v2) is recommended for PS4® authentication and crossover setups.
