{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
After completing setup, your **Zen Link™** will provide both **PS5® NATIVE SUPPORT** and Wi-Fi <i class="fa-wifi">:wifi:</i> support for flashing and configuring **GAMEPACKS** using your smartphone.
{% endhint %}

### Part 1 —  Smartphone App Setup

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Plug your Zen Link™ device into your plugged in Cronus Zen™. We recommend plugging it into the **A1** (left side) port as that is where it will reside for native PS5® play.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/JH8UtAQal9skckfJofqW" alt="" width="125"><figcaption><p>Zen Link™</p></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Download the Zenlink App from the <i class="fa-app-store-ios">:app-store-ios:</i> iOS® App Store or <i class="fa-google-play">:google-play:</i> Google® Play Store.

* <i class="fa-app-store-ios">:app-store-ios:</i> [iOS® App Store](https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/cronus-zenlink/id6764543287)
* &#x20;<i class="fa-google-play">:google-play:</i> [Google® Play Store](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.collectiveminds.zenlink\&pcampaignid=web_share)
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Make sure your SMARTPHONE's Bluetooth® is turned on, and it is connected to the SAME Wi-Fi** <i class="fa-wifi">:wifi:</i>

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/8Guv1kVQsRsI2UAXgHlu" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
The app will automatically find your Zen Link™ via Bluetooth® <i class="fa-bluetooth-b">:bluetooth-b:</i>.

<div align="left"><figure><img src="/files/mdYGp0EjAqcpXJ2ZIDSq" alt="" width="188"><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
{% endstep %}

### Part 2 —  PS5® Console Settings <a href="#upe7g" id="upe7g"></a>

The following **Settings** must be applied on your PlayStation®5 console before using Cronus Zen™ with Zen Link™ V2 for PS5® Native Play.

#### <i class="fa-battery-low">:battery-low:</i> Power saving <a href="#power-saving" id="power-saving"></a>

**Settings** → **System** → **Power Saving**

<table><thead><tr><th width="340">Setting</th><th>Value</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Set Time Until PS5® Enters Rest Mode<br><em>While Playing Games</em></td><td><strong>Don't Put in Rest Mode</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Features Available in Rest Mode<br><em>Supply Power to USB Ports</em></td><td><strong>Always</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Features Available in Rest Mode<br><em>Stay Connected to the Internet</em></td><td><strong>Enable</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Features Available in Rest Mode<br><em>Enable Turning On PS5® from Network</em></td><td><strong>Enable</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Set Time Until Controllers Turn Off</td><td><strong>Don't Turn Off</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>

***

#### <i class="fa-gamepad-modern">:gamepad-modern:</i> Controller settings <a href="#controller-settings" id="controller-settings"></a>

**Settings** → **Accessories**

<table><thead><tr><th width="340">Setting</th><th>Value</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Controller (General)<br><em>Vibration Intensity</em></td><td><strong>Strong (Standard)</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Controller (General)<br><em>Trigger Effect Intensity</em></td><td><strong>Strong (Standard)</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Controller (General)<br><em>Communication Method</em></td><td><mark style="color:$warning;"><strong>Use USB Cable</strong></mark></td></tr><tr><td>Advanced Settings<br><em>Bluetooth</em></td><td><strong>Off</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>

<figure><img src="/files/6ZrCewuzmpjJUJkBG6jk" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Communication Method → Use USB Cable** is the critical one. Without it, the PS5® cannot connect through the Cronus Zen™ and Zen Link™ at all.
{% endhint %}

***

#### <i class="fa-wave-square">:wave-square:</i> DualSense Edge™ curve <a href="#dualsense-edge-curve" id="dualsense-edge-curve"></a>

{% hint style="info" %}
On a DualSense Edge™ controller, the settings above are located under **Profile 1**.
{% endhint %}

The built-in Right Stick Sensitivity and Deadzone settings must be set to default, or they will break the functionality of many M.O.D.s including Silent Aim v2.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Create a custom profile

**Settings** → **Accessories** → **DualSense Edge™ Wireless Controller** → **Custom Profiles** → **Create Custom Profile**

Name it something like **BEAM**, then select **OK**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Set the stick values

Select the profile you created and apply these values.

<table><thead><tr><th width="340">Setting</th><th>Value</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Right Stick Sensitivity Curve</td><td><strong>Default</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Curve Adjustment</td><td><strong>0</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Deadzone Adjustment</td><td><strong>0%</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.cronuszen.com/zen-link/setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
