Status Light
Colour says which part is talking, rhythm says how it's going.
Normal startup
This is the whole sequence from plugging in to ready. It takes a few seconds.
Red always counts
A red light means something failed. It blinks in groups, pauses, and repeats. Count one group, then check the rhythm, the same count means different things at different speeds.

Magenta belongs to the Native mode initialization. Green at the end means Native mode was successful.
Firmware updates
Red: quick blips
Something went wrong during a PS5 Native Mode initialization. The light clears itself after about ten seconds and you can try again.
Red: long blinks
The device has stopped. These never clear on their own and always need attention.
Nothing here matches? If the light is completely dark, the device is not getting power — try a different USB port or cable. If you see a colour or rhythm that is not on this page, note the colour, whether it blinks fast or slow, and how many blinks come before the pause, then send that to support. Those three details are enough to identify any state.
