# M\&K Settings

The M\&K Settings plugin allows configuration of mouse translation and keyboard mapping for console gameplay.

It provides detailed control over:

• Mouse sensitivity\
• Boost\
• Inverted Y-axis\
• Ballistic curves\
• Deadzone compensation\
• Deadzone shape\
• Analog Stickize\
• Button and key mapping

The goal is to optimize mouse-to-reticle translation within console limitations.

## Layout System

***

M\&K Settings includes **six independent layouts**.

Each layout contains:

• Dedicated Aim Settings\
• Independent Button Mappings

Layouts allow different configurations for various gameplay styles or scenarios.

## Aim Settings

***

Aim Settings provide advanced mouse tuning options, including:

• Sensitivity adjustments\
• Boost control\
• Six selectable ballistic curves\
• Deadzone configuration

Ballistic curves modify input response behavior to fine-tune acceleration and precision.

## Button Mapping

***

Button mapping is divided into:

• Primary mappings\
• Secondary mappings\
• Movement mappings

Mappings are not restricted to a single input device.\
Controller inputs can be combined with mouse and/or keyboard input.

Copy and Paste tools allow entire sections of Aim Settings or Mappings to be duplicated without affecting other sections.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide.cronuszen.com/zen-studio/working-panels/m-and-k-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
