# Zen Studio Update

Zen Studio requires an active internet connection to check for and install updates.

### Automatic Update

If a mandatory or critical update is available, a notification will appear on launch.

To update:

1. Click **OK** on the update prompt.
2. Zen Studio will open the **Software Update** interface automatically.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

### Manual Update (Recommended for Older Versions)

Some older versions may not support automatic updates.

If Zen Studio has not been updated recently:

1. Uninstall the current version.
2. Download the latest version from the official website.
3. Install the new version.
